Diego Oliveira (Anápolis, 1989) lives between Anápolis and São Francisco de Goiás; he is a visual artist and graphic designer who graduated from UniEvangélica.
The artist’s work is closely connected to his relationship with the world of labor; having worked as a delivery person in recent years, he explores the spaces he traverses daily while making deliveries to different parts of the city. His practice has focused on the human relationships that emerge from work, examining the analogous conditions between fields initially considered separate, such as art and labor.
The artist has participated in exhibitions at various venues, including the 27th Salão Anapolino de Arte (2024) at the Cultural Center of the Federal University of Goiás and the Antonio Sibasolly Gallery, the Salão Nacional de Arte de Jataí at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Jataí (2023), the exhibition “Abrir Horizontes” at the Octo Marques Cultural Center (2023), as well as the “Entremeios” exhibition at the Museu de Artes Plásticas de Anápolis (Anápolis Museum of Visual Arts), in 2020. He also received the Salão Anapolino Award in 2020 and 2023.
Through its artist residency program, Barranco Ateliê has been hosting proposals from local artists seeking the infrastructure to carry out independent projects, particularly those requiring studio space for production and experimentation. Diego Oliveira’s residency culminated in the exhibition "Entrega Urgente" (Urgent Delivery) in 2025, at the FAV Gallery, produced by Barranco Ateliê in collaboration with the School of Visual Arts at the Federal University of Goiás.
